Hi,
I seem to observe that having Interpretation present, and set to Bypass, is not necessarily the exact same thing as not having Interpretation present at all.
By using Bypass I have had some success in limiting my Bass Figure to root note output.
However, the change is happening one note too late, like so:
I've not so far found a way to correct this.
Should this be happening at all? If so, what causes it and how can I fix it?
Or is there possibly a bug?
Simple test file attached.
Goal here is to "thump the root" (only) in every case, without any holdovers from the prior chord. Musically, I can perhaps consider fancying-it-up later - after I've got something totally stable that I fully understand!

Try to re-group the symbols in such a way that the figure segments end at the end of a bar.

Grouping symbols in a horizontal line is literally asking Synfire to maintain the same pitch (as long as possible).
Either ungroup the symbols or make sure the segments aren't crossing measures. I would recommend ungrouping because you never know where a progression will have its transitions in advance.

Thanks kindly. I'd have never "figured" this out on my own!
