I was moving a note in a container, and many notes got long ghost 'tails'. The sound is not changed, but the visual clutter is distracting.

How does it look like?

They look like this; you can see it in two tracks - WAIT, this is related to the problem of my mysterious long notes. I had imported a long Logic midi file into SFP and chopped it up into pieces - but the chop isn't 'clean'. These are the same tracks that have the long (10 - 40) measures.
There's an analogy in Logic when you cut a region, it asks if you want long notes to 'remain, shorten, cut'. This appears to be a similar issue..
There is no way you can edit these 'ghost' events either. The select tool can't access them.

The ghost notes can not be edited, but you should be able to find the original Figure and shorten them there.

I don't understand. Are you meaning in the root container? I'll have to go back and check original MIDI file..They were not in Logic when I exported it.. I'll check and see, if they get changed in the SFP import stage, or if they happen there. Yes three tracks out of 13 had this..

The figures displayed in this 'ghost note' style are inherited from another container. Use the 'Trace Parameter' option to find the container where they are from.
