If I pick a chord from the palette how do i change the position of notes in that chord.
I can change the bass note position using 1 to 4 on mac keyboard but not sure if theres a way to change chord note positions.
any ideas please ?

Every instrument can interpret a chord as it pleases. The chord is a rule for all instruments. Inversion depends on middle playing range, figure segment settings and interpretation parameter.
You can set a default inversion and voicing in harmony (for all instruments)
Figure segments may override the default with their own settings (menus at bottom)
Interpretation may disable all figure segment settings (enforce the default)
Instrument middle playing range is important too. Some inversions and voicings may not fit into the range. Then Synfire will pick a different one.
