Currently
Snippets are flat containers without children
So long as that is the case, it would make sense if dragging a non-flat container (one with children) from Structure onto the Snippets Matix would perform a behind-the-scenes conversion of that nested container into a snapshot, which would then land in the Snippets Matix as the necessary flat container.
The idea here would be not to alter the nested container at its original/current position in Structure (we can do that separately and explicitly if we want to), but rather to enable and promote the general dragging of containers from Structure into Snippets as a single, simple operation.
