Hi,
I created too many device descriptions that I would like to delete, yet when I try to delete them, Synfire (demo) gives me an error. I am running the software under Windows 7 with administrator rights.
Can I find a file in which I could delete theses descriptions myself, so that that they do not clutter the description pane in Synfire?
Also, I will be buying Synfire today. Will the full version retain the descriptions I made with the demo?

The error on deletion is a known bug that was fixed today. The descriptions are stored under your personal projects directory in a subfolder named "Config" and "Devices". Please refer to the preference settings where that is.
Yes, you can continue to use the descriptions with the full version.
