Can I use my old ilok1 that comes with my pro tools 8?

Cognitone specifies ilok 2 & 3, anyone has ilok1 that runs synfire?

I've been using an iLok1 with Synfire until early this year. Upgraded to iLok3 due to other software that required use of no less than iLok2.

Best ask Andre whether Synfire is still compatible with iLok1.

Thanks for reaching out!

 

Currently iLok 1 still works, but it is being slowly phased out. 

You could start using it right now, but might need to get a generation 2 or 3 iLok eventually.

 

If you purchase Synfire now, we offer a free iLok2 as a goodie on top. Depending on where you live, shipping might take a week or two.
