Should I be using Interpretation only with my midi melody track or with all other instruments?
Some times the results I am getting are not at all pleasing!
No one is responding to my questions.....I just bought the software. Keep your customers happy....

Hey Eduardo,
don't worry, we are listening. If you post on Sunday, you should not expect a reply before Monday. We need sleep too ;-)
The Interpretation parameter is a set of options that control the rendering of a phrase. Whether you enable or disable a particular feature, depends on the phrase:
1) Melody, fixed, must not change: Use the "Input for Harmonizer" preset. That will keep it static.
2) Melody, supposed to follow the progression and the accompaniment: Use a "Melodic .." preset.
3) Accompanying instruments: Pick a preset that best suits the type of instrument.
These presets are defaults only. You can still tweak the settings manually.
What is it that you feel doesn't sound right? I can point you to a setting that you might change.

I just sent you a midi example....Overall I am not happy of how the melody sounds with the premade accompaniment in HN2.
I want the same rhtymn and feeling....
The melody will be replaced with vocals....How do I import vocals into NH2?

(I replied to you other thread, in part)
You need to transcribe a melody into midi (e.g. using a DAW's or sequencer's piano roll editor) before you can import it into HN. It has no audio tracks.
If the melody is simple, it is easiest to record it to a new melody instrument in HN manually, using an external midi keyboard.
