Many people using windows tend to have a problem sharing audio devices between multiple applications e.g. a daw and synfire. Wonder if this might help? Following the death of the developer, its been made avalable for free.

Recently i use a usb audio interface ur22c (Steinberg) with a usb audiodriver used in Cubase
Its now possible to open Cubase and a video player at the same time, something what is not possible earlier withoutthe usb audio interface
Maybe its working for Synfire and Cubase at the same time ?
