The forums have undegone a reorganization and update today.
Cleanup
We removed older posts concerning bugs and issues that have been fixed already, or that are no longer relevant. Also removed posts that explained or announced things which are no longer valid for current versions of the software. This led to misleading search results and confused new users a lot.
Should you find your post "edited" unexpectedly, this is because it was moved to one of the new forums.
New Forums
Taking into account the "cultural fragmentation" of the music scene, we felt that electronic music on the one hand, and hand-made music on the other hand, each deserve their own forum. The assumptions, prerequisites and desires of either community are very different, so throwing all users in a single forum is not helpful.
To avoid the slightest suggestion of discrimination, I should note that we at Cognitone love both, electronic music and hand-made music alike. In fact, I spent the 80's making synth pop, the 90's making electronic music (goa, psy-trance, ambient) and during the last 10 years embraced orchestral music and various acoustic styles.
Of course, everyone can post to any forum, whichever best suits the topic.
