User Meeting Video

Here's the recording of the Synfre user meeting yesterday that ran for an hour.

Ruchir explains his setup and workflow, showing the cinematic soundtrack example posted here earlier. There were 18 users participating live (peak was around 25), most of which however had their cams turned off.

The video is shorter than the actual meeting, because the Zoom cloud recording only contained the shared screen.

This meeting was a success, as it proved to be a relaxed setting for in-depth discussion of workflows. We will have more of these meetings in the near future for sure. Thanks everyone for attending. Many thanks again to Ruchir for taking the time to help us set this up! You are a great host.

Thanks for that video. It would be great to have more howto videos, even if they are very short.

So far with a classical DAW I am able to create great music in very short time - with synfire I am stuck. It is so complex and I often just don't know how to do something or what buttons are for. The manual is too theoretical for me - need to see it live.

I still not found the answer of the meaning of a horizontal versus vertical scale in Synfire and i how to use it for  my musical benefit

Another point is that is the use short phrases is the best recommended  workflow in Synfire
This need more explanation in relation to the arrangement with containers

Great Video. I learnt many things, especially how many ways this powerful tool can be used. Thank you.
