What file extension for imported device xml file in HN2.5 ?

i try to import a VSTDevices xml file with the .xml extension in HN2.5, but there is a error : icould not parse this document

Import XML(.midnam) is the fileformat in HN2.5 ...so a .xml is not possible to import in HN2.5?

Note

Supertonic@ gives the suggestion that i must use xml files..so i did

XML is a generic file extension, like TXT. It does not relate to the file's contents. MIDNAM is formatted as XML. If HN2 refuses the file, it is not a MIDNAM format probably.

Ok i understand

I do have a lot of VSTDevices in .xml  format..HN2.5 gives a parse error  when imported.sothey are not in MIDNAM format..i got it !

It is a <VSTNameDocument>CONTENT</VSTNameDocument>  format than probaly what i have used to import in HN2

What is the MIDNAM format than ?


For that it must look in a XML MIDNAM file from Cognitone  i think
