split figures in different tracks

let's say I have a track containing bass figures, vertical, orizontal figures, is it possbile to divide these figures in different tracks perhaps with the same instrument or different?

Synfire Pro has the Split and Merge features.  Express does currently not. However, you can also do this by selecting all symbols of the current type (see: Transform menu) and cut & paste these to other instruments. Or you can duplicate an instrument and delete unwanted symbols by type.

Symbols on the clipboard can be added to a figure with Edit >> Paste and Merge

Easier symbol separation is on the agenda for editor improvements anyway.

Synfire Pro has the Split and Merge features.  Express does currently not.


Is there a special reason for this ?..probably the more advanced use in Synfire pro
