I'm using Prominy SR5 Bass and along with keyswitches it also has several stop keys to simulate various sounds of using the palm to stop the strings.
Is there a way to turn interpretation for an instrument completely off so whatever I record is exactly what is played back?
I've tried the "Bypass - no interpretation" template under interpretation, but Synfire still messes with what I've played so the stop keys are moved messing up the performance.

Yeah I know, I have over 100 instruments defined with at least 500 keyswitches and custom ccs.
The problem is that Synfire only leaves the KS notes alone if you select a note and then select a keyswitch manually after recording, if you play the keyswitch while recording by pressing those notes on the keyboard, it is treated as a normal note and moved around by the interpretation.

How about if you put keyswitches on a different track, made static, and assigned to same sound? Not sure but I think you also have to widen the 'range of the instrument' so SFP doesn't try to automatically transpose it to a proper octave, therefore losing your switching ability.
I would love the ability for Synfire to read in and play MSB/LSB/Prog/ CC's and sysex, and leave it intact, and send out over proper channel to get the the full potential of instrument (Tyros 4 for me)

I could probably use another instrument set to static and just copy the "take" to that track and delete the non stop keys whould be pretty easy as they are way below the playable range so easy to block select the real notes and delete those so I end up with just the stop keys.
I have a few older synths laying around that reacts to sysex only, so some sysex functionally would be nice.
