That parameter is used internally to support code development only. I missed to disable dev mode before making the screenshot. Same for the Debug menu. If experiments work out as expected, this parameter may eventually move stuff like "Generate Pedal", "Auto-Chords" and "Auto-Bass" to a more intuitive place.
I removed and replaced the pictures to avoid confusion.

That would indeed make sense. The Interpretation parameter is not really the right place for the Auto-Chords feature, since Auto-Chords does not interpret the figure of the instrument but it simply replaces it with block chords. It took me a few moments to realize that when I was new to Synfire.
Perhaps the introduction of a new parameter Synthesis could be also a starting point for further developments of more advanced synthesis features. What I think is: At this parameter for example could be presented a list of musical styles and other options and Synfire then automatically generates appropriate phrases. The parameter Synthesis would also be a good place to introduce some algorithmic phrase generators.
At Cognitone they don't go over one night of ice (dutch proverb :) ) ..but i think you can be assured that Cognitone do there outmost best to deliver ... a Synfire program what fulfill on their highest quality of themself.

I'm excited about this update, it looks superb so I'm on hold until it's available.
Can you please, please please, make this integrate better with Propellerhead Reason in the future?
Reagadless,
Thanks for all the work!
