Selection request

Sometimes when I want to make notes longer, and select the note(s) to be lengthened.
And notice I'm still in the group selection tool, switching to the lengthen tool, switches of the selection.
Could it be possible that the selection stays active when changing tools ?

no matter with which tool you select,
you can type note length value in the Inspector of Figure parameter
to me
this is much more easier

You don't need to switch to another tool. Hold down the Alt-key while dragging if you want to change the note durations instead of the shape of the selected figure segement.
