Hopefully Andre will arrive at a solution to not have so much screen clutter with various windows one wants open.
I make the following suggestion, get rid of locked window positioning totally. Also make windows totally resizeable. For instance when working with phrase library.. I may want to shrink windows down display only the phrases. Also include a checkable box, so that the window can remain intact, or can show its relativity should one select a new instrument, or phrase pool or library.
Logic makes a good use of that with a box, that can change state to three different colors, each of those colors representing a certain state for that box. You could shrink screen real estate a great deal by employing that technique.
