got a figure, it is looped, but you want a slight variation the *first time* it is looped. Eg. in a drum figure with a length of one bar: it often starts with a crash cymbal on the first beat, but the crash note should not be repeated on each new bar start, only in the first bar.
So instead of having to create a copy of the pattern containing the "crash" note (as the only difference), a new feature could simplify this:
You can select the notes in a phrase/figure, eg. the "crash" note, and mark them as "play one time only", or "don't repeat" / "don't loop"
