Applied Acoustics Strum VST MIDI

Author fullspectrum

Hey guys. I was using the Strum VST by Applied Acoustic Systems and found that it comes with hundreds of Rhythmic Guitar Midi files. Its like a secret location. Anyways, Ive zipped them and shared them for you. Yes, you'll still have to do your own figure recognition. I havent done it yet myself.

How do you use those MIDI files? When simply played back, the notes are mostly a mess of random pitches (stuff like long ostinato sequences of tritones and minor 2nd). Those don't form sensible melodies or chords.

I went through them. They are simply Guitar riffs and Osts. Many of them form melodies, many of them chords, some of them tritones. I assume when using figure recognition, you can pay more attention to the rhythms and reuse those if you do not like the pitches used. These are guitar based melodic shapes and riffs.
