The nightingale on the battlements by Jorge Codina

This composition is generated from a melody with two phrases that I whistle and record in Logic, taking advantage of its Flex Pitch utility and its ability to transform audio into MIDI (file attached). Later, I use Synfire to detect and optimize chords and create bass lines and harmonies. Finally, I go back to Logic to assemble, layer with other instruments, add percussion, and mix and master.
