Liquid notes in Synfire?

Not sure what part of LN you are looking for as a feature to be added to synfire. The only thing i thought was interesting was the live mode, but Ive got that covered in Ableton Live with some max4live patches and/or push.

I hated the way LN interfaces with a daw, going back to export/import or virtual midi cables will make my workflow worse. I watched the ableton live integration video and you have to use a 3rd party tool to combine the midi files from live into one file before you can import into LN.

The dragging of sliders was nice but I think you'd get fed up pretty quickly with the limitations it imposes.

It  is the idea for the sliders/knobs to manipulate chords like they do in liquid notes in real -time and it seems there to be easier to come up with a better sounding chordprogression
I don't see that happen in Synfire..sliders for chord changes.

The harmonisation screen has a list of suitable chords so can see the names of the chord without picking it first. Just treat that like the slider. Its a list box so slide the mouse up and down and click on the chord to try it out.

You can also select palettes schemes that colour grade the chords based on what would be the next most likely to follow in the progression
