Is there a technical reason why the "Link function" button (play back using the harmony, tempo and sound of the selected instrument) is only available for a library that is opened inside the main window in the left panel ?
It would be very nice to have this also libraries which are opened in another window.

only the embedded library knows to which arangement it belongs. you can however open any other library inside the embedded view.

I understand. However, if you are only working on one arrangement at a time (which I guess is the most commone case), the link button would make sense.
Or if there really multiple arrangement windows opened, then simply the last arrangement window that received the focus/ had been activated would be the target arrangement.
