I use a Yamaha Steinberg USB Asio driver and want to set the buffer size, but this is not possible in the Synfire screen (there is 256 samples and no further choice).
Below is a button: Show Device Control Panel, and this opens the screen of the Yamaha Steinberg Usb Driver, and here you can also specify the buffer size.
Entered is: mode: low latency and buffer size: 512
Synfire does not let me choose a buffer size or via Yamaha Steinberg driver buffer size is not updated in Synfire screen.
Setting a buffer size makes that Synfire and Vienna ensemble pro server have to be restarted by the Kontakt Vst which has to set a new sample rate (this warning came up on the vienna ensemble pro server).
The whole thing is about making sure that the audio of the instruments can be clearly heard without interference.

That's where you get sick of the Steinberg audio usb driver via the ur22 c operated
sample rate : 44 100 Hz and in mode low latency with buffersize :512 samples and with 1 instrument it crackles already
Through the generic low latency driver Asio driver it sounds great, but that does not go through the recording boxes and there is no handy box with a volume control

Through the generic low latency driver Asio driver it sounds great in Windows 11 pro, but the URC22C with another asio driver from steinberg audiointerface its sounds with crackles.
How to use these generic low latency driver Asio driver for the recording boxes and bypasses the UR22C ?
No longer have confidence in the UR22 C usb audio controller that it will sound crackle-free.
And with the same dynamics as the... https://steinberg.help/wavelab_cast/v1/en/wavelab/topics/setting_up_your_system/generic_low_latency_asio_driver_selecting_t.html

Sounds great the generic steinberg asio driver with Synfire!
I need to find a device to switch between the recording speakers and the normal speakers
During recording/mixing use the recording speakers and listen to the result on the regular speakers

I replaced the Steinberg urc22c usb audio controller with a Behringer studio L usb audio interface that can switch between 2 loudspeaker sets (recording en listening) and that was not possible with the urc22c.
Also has its own asio driver the Studio L and also sounds fine compared to the Steinberg generic asio driver I was so enthouiast about.
Was favorably priced the studio L (same price as the misbuy of the urc220) and has many more options for music recording.
