In older versions of Synfire, you could change between figure symbol edit and segment selection with double-click. I'd like to see that behaviour back (or user-configurable what happens on double-click). The current behaviour (changing zoom on double-click) leads to frustration on my side.

Select the same segment or symbol again to toggle between modes back and forth
