A long standing bug was fixed that causes some VST3 plug-ins to be scanned every time Synfire is started. The latest upload of Synfire 2.4.7 fixes this.
For technical reasons we did not increment the version number or build number this time. If you are on Windows and have already installed Synfire 2.4.7 Build #2 before June 12, please download that version again, uninstall "Cognitone Audio Engine" using System Control Panel, and re-install "Cognitone Audio Engine.msi".
Should you have experienced this problem also on macOS, please download and install Synfire again. It is not necessary to uninstall anything.
Run a full re-scan (with reset) to clear the plugin list of old VST3 instances
