I just updated to the latest version of synfire.I am now having problems with CC7 controllers not working consistently. It would work for the first 11 measures then stopped then started to work at measure 43. No instruments would respond to CC7 except trombones?? I switched to instrument that works with CC11 controllers which worked fine for a while then it seamed to get in a tug of war with the CC7 even though I set CC7 to a specific volume. If you need more precise info let me know, otherwise everything is on hold till this CC7 gets sorted out.

Hi Joe,
from your description I would guess there is a container in your arrangement that spans from measure 12 to 44 and gets in the way of the Volume parameter. Possibly volume is muted or temporarily overridden by a constant? Also check the container defaults (the "global" track) of that container.
Using the volume slider always sets or replaces the Volume parameter with a constant in the currently selected container.
