Do we only get one month of the demo? Mine has expired. Is there any way to run another trial?
thanks

Due to technical limitations, an expired demo can not be reset. You however have the option to install the demo again ...
1) on another computer, e.g. your laptop
2) on another (external) hard drive that you can boot from
Actually 30 days should be ample time to evaluate HN, but occasionally users happen to install the demo immediately and then move on to other things. We see this is a problem, but we can't do anything about it at this time.

Thanks for your reply
Yes I installed it and then I was unable to use my computer for some time.
When I try to install it on my 500gig external hard drive I get the same expired message. How can I install it on the external drive, what might I be doing wrong?
Thank you

Sorry for the long delay ... I messed up with my message tracking.
If you uninstall the expired version from your system drive first, you should be able to install on an external drive, but I'm not sure. It may be also required to boot your OS from that drive.
Unfortunately it is not possible to extend the trial period remotely. I would love to do that for you.
The new version 2.0 is coming soon. You may want to try that anyway. It will be much better than the 1.6.1 version.

Our current plan is to release HN2 in two flavors. An entry level edition and a more comprehensive one with support for song structure and more advanced features. HN2 will be a huge improvement over the previous generation.
There will be a demo and a grace period of six weeks within the upgrade is free. Current owners of a HN1 license will get a special upgrade offer.
We don't have a release date yet. Looking at the milestones, it is very close, but experience showed that all the odds and ends sum up, so we don't want to make a promise yet.
