Hi,
I am trying to work out how to mute a note (not using pause), in the figure view.
I am able to delete them, but not mute a note.
This is what I'd like to do, I am working on a piece and I'd like to be able to try to mute selected pairs / odd notes here and there to change the feel of the sequence... By just deleting them it's a pain if i want to change as I have to undo (sometimes undoing stuff i want to keep) sometimes copying over the phrase again.
If it's not a feature and it's on the list to add please don't add it as yet another button we need to move over to the left hand side of the screen and select. instead please consider adding it as a right click menu item.
If it' already possible to do this I apologise, i searched the manual and all I came up with was pause....Thanks

All of them.
In ableont it's right click for context menu and then deactivate note.
I forget which in Logic and Cubase now as it's been a while and I don't have logic on the machine I am writing on...
It's a useful tool as you can import a complex phrase then thin it out or create new parts by muting all then selecting notes as you wish.

In Logic you can highlight any/all notes and then Mute these with pulldown menu, mouse click (if 'mute' is the current tool) or "m" key. This is a very handy feature as it lets you make quick comparisions before finalizing a delete.
