Synfire Pro + PitchMap = !?!?!??!!!

The possibilities of using this new plugin - PitchMap - with Synfire Pro are astounding. You can change melodies and harmonies of recorded audio in real-time, under MIDI control. You can send MIDI, and the source audio material follows your playing. I am curious to know what y'all think about that.

mashtactic with melodyne to midi is also cool. just have to find the right frequencies. yes pitchmap looks cool. also check out http://www.divideframe.com/?p=spectrallayers amazing stuff going on.

Really interesting would be also that from polyphonic audio midi notes can be extracted.

But that seems till now not to be possible yet ?

Wow. I always thought Celemony would eventually come up with this sort of plugin (I might have missed it). Zynaptiq have really done a great job. Pitch quantization has some inherent limtations, though.
