Is there a way to?

Logic has a great feature when selecting notes to work on.. It is subposition.. That is you can select the (4 and) in a basically  8 th note line.. It will only perform a function on notes that fall in that position.

I've discovered by shortening the (4 and) note and lowering it's velocity you can go a long way towards making a lot of notes work as passing tones. 

Is there anyway in SFP to currently do that or could there be?  In general I'd love to see a lot more 'selectivity' in the selector abilities.
