Hi.
Find attached a pastiche on the first four bars of Debussy's Clair de Lune from the Suite Bergamasque.
It is analogous to the comping of an audio or MIDI take in a DAW using the marquee tool. With the difference that instead of assembling several takes on a single track, in Synfire you perform a comping of containers, which can contain multiple instruments playing and, in addition, can be nested.
As soon as I will learn to use ScreenFlow, I will record my experiments. For the moment you can take a look at my rudimentary attempt...

PS -- I deliberately left the names of the containers as Synfire chose them, to give the idea of the assembly. In the embedded library you will also find the original MIDI clip.
PPS -- All the harmonies are in the Debussy's global key of Db Maj. If you try to modify the global key in any single container without changing the Figures, you will get a quite different melody, sometimes even a better one.
