Can a song arrangement become corrupt?

I've been working on a song, and getting a lot of 'generated a crash report, but is safe to continue'.  The song continues to play ok.. Can I keep going forward making more changes?

I've saved, quit program and reloaded = seems to be fine.. I just don't want to end up with something unusual.
