Crashed- Lost an hours work

Posted

I have had it with this crappy software. I just spent an hour converting takes into figures. I went to Save As and the program shut down, What a waste of money this has been! I will be sure to warn folks to stay away from this spectacularly dissappointing software.

Thanks Andre.

I do apologize for my vitriol but after hours and hours of patiently wrestling with Synfire, I ran out.

As a retired pro video editor     (https://www.facebook.com/tom.daigon)      Im used to the process of learning new complex software. But here in my retirement I prefer to work with intuitive software that is a joy to explore. I must say all I got from my Synfire experience is elevated blood pressure and lots of oppotunity to swear. Im not inclined to just throw away $750 worth of software, but I am also not a masochist.

I appreciate your understanding. At this point I have removed all traces of Synfire from my computer.

I understand how frustrating it can be to get stuck. Especially as you've been so enthusiastic yesterday.

Rest assured, we're always availabe to help and explain. Most issues get resolved very quickly and we'll get you going. The learning curve is steep. Synfire is not a video editor or DAW. Dealing with its concepts takes some time to get a grasp of. It's worth the initial effort, but you need not find it out alone. I'm happy to help. You will see Synfire can finally do what you envisioned.

Your moral support is appreciated  :)   Its a shame you dont have a Tech Support phone line here in the USA. Trouble shooting complexities like Synfire really demand a live interactive dialog. Email is a poor and potentially frustrating substitute. Besides, I hate to type.   ;)
