I wrote Steinberg Support """First of all you said that I have to make contact local distrubator. This is a software problem. What can Local Distrubutor do and solve this problem? I don't understand. Also I bought cubase internet. Why do you sell to cubase with internet?   I don't understand either.. Afterthat I said before bug problem such as above. You didn't pay attention and couldn't solve this problem new update. I use cubase more than ten years. Unfortunetly I understand that You don't care your customers. Of course I don't like to hear that.

While I perfectly understand that shielding their developers from millions of user requests makes sense, some bug reports could get more attention. The fact that merely the spelling(!) of a plugin's name causes Cubase to unexpectedly open random windows, is clearly a bug.

As said already, I am reluctant to trying different names for our plugin until we find one that doesn't cause unwanted side effects (now, or anytime in the future). This is not how software is supposed to work.

As a temporary workaround, maybe you could try and rename the string "Transport" in the file to "Tranxport" using a hex editor. Do not rename the DLL file, though, as it is linked to by the Windows registry. Make a backup of the DLL first.
