Right now we are limited to erasing individual notes or high lighted blocks of notes. I would be able to paintbrush erase notes, much like you can already draw in notes with the pens..
Arrangements with more than a few instruments really benefit tremendously from the ability to easily create, erase and alter lenths, This commands could also be in real tme.. That is piece would keep playing, we would actually hear change till next loop around, This will make it quite easy to dovetail instrements in containers, for nice smooth blends.
I've beome quite adapt and changing note start, stop times, and lengths on the fky, while piece is playing. True I don't hear them in real tine, There is a Logic command which lets me slect the highest note in each chord, The'se I can process. There is a also select lowest note I do the sae for these too in real time.. Synfire pro could take it a step further by pcking out the 2nd harmonic note in a chord, or 3rdh etc to proces independentky of other lines
