Figure drawing tool

I’d suggest to create a kind of an intelligent figure drawing tool. This could work as follows (see attached pictures):

The new tool I am thinking about can be „loaded“ with a short figure segment. This could be done by selecting a figure and dragging it to the tool selection button. After dropping the figure at the tool selection button, the button changes its color to green, indicating that a figure is loaded. Then the new tool can be used similar to the exisiting freehand tool, but instead of drawing simple symbols along the drawn line it draws figure segments along the line.

How about this? Trills and other ornaments could be easily created this way.

The idea the user tokyorose posted several times ago would also be a good solution for creating ornaments:

-stamp segment
--- This would insert a copy of a selected segment at the anchor of every segment of an instrument... So you could take a simple melody and make each note become an ornament offset bey the anchor position.

Any kind of a tool that simplifies the creation of ornaments would be welcome.
