First note at playback cursor does not play

Often the first note (starting at exact the position of the playback cursor )  of an instrument (vsti's only, internal MIDI works fine) is not played, when pressing the play button.

When the playback starts 1/8  (or 1/16) note earlier then it is always played.

This is especially annoying when pressing the rewind button, so the play cursor jumps to position 0. But then, when pressing play button there is this problem that some notes starting at pos 0 are not being played!

This often lead me to an workaround: Let all container start at bar #2. Not very nice because the musical structure is shifted, orientation on typical periods (16 bars) not possible any more.

=> Are ther any audio settings which can prevent this issue (buffer,...) ??
