Try installing this free Vst server plugin ( Vienna Ensemble x64 Vst) in Synfire for windows 10
Can add the plug in on the global rack tab as a rack module
Adding the plugin in the structure screen via the Rack module library does not work ?...comes up with an error message

Because I pulled the Vienna Ensemble vst plug in over an existing plugin I got an error message
Apparently the plugin works in Synfire and other plugins can be loaded into the server plugin, but haven't figured out how to do that yet
I installed this server plug in based on @ Ruchir who did it for the pro version, but whether it works and how to do it?

So tried and tested, Vienna's free software is not usable for switching between Synfire and Cubase with a sound library.
You will then have to buy the pro software and that comes with a sound library and it seems like a good buy.
You can then create "instances" for each instrument and thus build different libraries in the Pro server software
In Cubase an "instance installed as a rack enters the mixer as an instrument and a mix template can further be set up ( also an audio track can be used)
Once you have your sound library on the Vienna Pro server installed, and created a composition in Synfire and transferred the midi to Cubase ( is that easy?) and reconnected the sound library to Cubase then you again have the original Synfire composition in Cubase ready for further composing and what to do with mixing/mastering.
The discussion here on the forum to connect cognitone midi drones in Cubase ( as an example ) and use Synfire as a midi sequencer for a composition and host the instruments in Cubase ( Is this already possible? ) could possibly be an easier setup than via a Vienna Pro server host.
But the Vienna Pro server setup has advantages that the CPU load is optimised for Vienna libraries ( also for non-Vienna sound libraries?), so if you use a lot of instruments.
