i'm very interested in getting HN and quite possibly Synfire.
questions:
will there be a special upgrade price for HN2 for previous HN1 owners?
how close are we to have HN2 released?
should i wait?

Hi Vince,
thanks for asking. We will begin to prepare for the HN2 update after the Synfire 1.1.0 update is complete and stable and the demo is out. This will take several weeks (optimistic estimate), so we can not announce a release date for HN2 yet.
There will be a grace period for recent HN1 buyers to get the HN2 upgrade for free. Two or three months, probably. Still have to research what is common practice these days. Therefore your chances are high, if you buy HN1 within the next weeks, that you get the HN2 upgrade for free.
It is our general policy to offer a loss-free upgrade path to the respective next major version.
