How can I reset the demo to original default configuration for internal gm sounds in the global thing?

I managed to lose my way clicking stuff that changed stuff and I can't find my way.  I tried an uninstall but everything came back the wrong way I had it.

I managed to somehow get the internal gm sounds back last night but I don't know how I did it and now they are gone again. The manual doesn't seem to describe this that I can find but I'll keep looking.

Usually just writing the issue helps me to resolve it myself and because i don't know what I am doing it is hard to describe what I need, but any help is always welcome.

Is there a do over button to reset everything back to the original install condition? Does saving being dissabled on the demo have something to do with it? I'm really struggling with this and haven't had any oportunities to try anything else yet!
