If it's a VST, find it on your hard drive and add that directory to the VST search path of the audio engine before your rescan for installed plug.ins.

That's the problem H4 .. it needs  a VST2.4 or VST3 compatabile host for using as plug in
Installation did not ask for a VST folder (  i must have .dll file format? )

(The AU version is installed in your AU plug-ins folder) , but no VST folder
Scanning the Vst plugin is not dependant of the folder path ofcourse, but

i am afraid that Halion4 has no .ddl filestructure, but has Halion4.vst3 ..and that points to the fact that it is only to use in Cubase 6.5
Halion 4 seems to be no regular Vsti

Can you agree with this?

It is possible to use H4 in VST 2.4 host, so why it is not possible to scan this plug in with his sound potential ?

a automatic device extraction seems to be not possible for Samplers in General , but Halion is a Synth
Also no device extraction, so the only way is than by direkt channel setup. ( but this is not general..only for one arrangement ? ) .. so a more general device for more songs setup is than by shared devices ?

This is stressed in the new video ? How you gonna use your setup?

It may be a dll but named differently. I dont know in which directory it gets installed. You need to get that information from Steinberg or another user forum. Or just use the search function of Windows explorer. Or use Google ...

I could find the path of it by using regedit .. it is scanned by SFP now..but no automatic device description extraction possible for Halion 4 as it seems.
It is not supported by Halion 4 ?
