Today when I started up SFP, all my last used files were gone. I attempted to start a new library. Once I opened a new library window - it's missing all it's pull down menus. I can't see how to change it's sound or a number of other processes needed.
Drive utility said drive was fine and permissions were ok.. My other programs work fine, so I don't think it's a computer related problem.
I figured out how to save, I'm guessing these are changes made to streamline the app. or else my computor has a mind of it's own.

On the Mac, all menus should appear on the OS X menu bar, depending on the window currently in focus. Unless you opted for local menu bars in the preference settings.
There has been an issue with the library window that was fixed. Did you install all patches? Check Help -> Online Updtaes.
