Make chord inversions input more userfriendly

Posted

At he moment i am experimenting with a number of well known chord progression wich consist of root and inverted chords for triads and  7 chords.

I must make these in the progression editor, but it goes slow and primitive by choosing the bass chord

Is it not possible in HN2 to get a menu with gives first inversion..second inversion ..etc  by making a library of inversions

It seems that HN2 only can handle triads and seven chords for inversions for manual input in the progression editor?

Live playing in the pallette gives probably more chord inversions for 9 chords and bigger chords because voice leading is handled by the software.

Pressing the keys 1,2,3,4,5 sets the 1st, 2nd, third, etc, inversion. The chord needs to be select for this to work.

I tried to do this in the progressioneditor .. i select a chord and choose 2, but nothing happened.

Is this documented in the usermanual too?
