I believe that we need an additional 'Method of Selection' in the Device Descriptions - Programs area in order to allow us to command/access the full set of Banks and Programs available in the Korg Triton plugin.
Short summary: We need to be able to send a CC0 message before the MSB + LSB method for the Bank Selection to properly take place.
I have made a video which shows fully operational bank selection for the Triton plugin, and the MIDI data stream that is required to achieve it.
Some of what needs to be seen in the video is pretty small, but I promise it is there!
As the video shows, the leading CC0 message "prepares" the plugin to then accept the MSB + LSB (on CC32) correctly. Without the leading CC0 message , the bank will never change, only the program will with the bank remaining the same.
This is a very powerful plugin (and the same for the Korg Triton Extreme plugin), and we do have a decent potential Device Description, with over 900 patches nominally (but not actually, because of this situation) available.
So, this request is for a new 'Method of Selection' to be added (CC0 + MSB + LSB) that will send the required 3-part message to command these plugins successfully.
