Took a half hour and not much progress during import of this midi
What is wrong with this midi ?
I do have a whole serie of midi export from a audio program and all imports take too long time in Synfire
I got the the impression that these export midi's not follow the standards for importing in Synfire?
Too much data generated ...with the export from the audio program ?

thanks for posting the file.
there is lots of fast rhythm in there like drum patterns. solution:
- import as all static notes
- go to the take of each instrument, press 'auto'
- select smaller parts of the take with span tool to recognize
or wait an hour for synfire to complete all by itself.
