Does anybody have any of the device descriptions done for any or all of the Komplete 8 stuff? I really need some help here.

Komplete 8 is a collection of many effects and instruments. Creating descriptions for them all is a huge task.
Many VST versions of the NI synths and effects support extraction (tested with Reaktor 5). You should give the extraction a try. You can then use the definition for both VST and AU versions of the plugins.

Meanwhile, I save different multi's as needed. Some things that help me are:
1. Put given instrument on a specific (port and) midi ch - bass on 3 - piano on 4 - etc
2. Same for Kontakt outs & rename outs to 'Bass' - 'Piano' - etc
(I've found this to be the easiest way to control volume of individual parts, so far)
3. Route all of the outs to 'Stereo 1' - ie '1 & 2' since SFP doesn't recognize more than that.
4. Save the multi - which also saves the outs and names.
5. When you load the multi, if you want a different sound, drop it onto one in the rack. The sound will change, but the midi ch & output assigns will stay the same.
I hope this helps. You still have to assign the (private) port and set the midi ch in SFP.
