It would be helpful to take a page from Logic Pro. in that when you open a parameter windo, you have the option of it staying static or following the time line. That is if you come accross another container of the same intrument, those new values are displayed.. This would make it easy to check thins out - even out velocities, put a new rhythm in different sections. The Parmeter window would toggle between static, and where the current time cursor was.
