Hi.
Currently Synfire always exports type 1 MIDI files.
It would be quite helpful if we could optionally export type 0 files when that is desired.
In particular, once we have created mixed snippets which represent the whole band playing then exporting as type 0 would create a MIDI file that can be dragged directly into a DAW resulting in a single clip representing the exported snippet (or container, if from the Structure timeline).
This would basically allow the snippets matrix to be reconstructed in the clip-launcher side of DAWs for easy taking advantage of the DAW features while continuing production with audio recording etc.

Also, I don't know if this is possible, but if we could drag out Snippets Groups to the OS and have each of the snippets in the Group be exported to MIDI (type 0 or 1 as desired) that would be very useful.
OTOH, if it's not possible to interact with the OS that way, then the Snippets Group menu
could host an operation to pop up a dialog to manage exporting the entire group as individual MIDI files.
