Is it or would it be possible to put SFP into record then play with the mute and pause bottons on the mixer page? It would be fast and easy to try different combinations.. Also could the pause button also work from the mixer page. I know it's a bit redundant with the mute right there. but it would be just another way to accomplish the same effect. Then one could edit the pauses, from a phrase page for fine tuning..
Better yet, the automation could be quatized when recording, so even if we're a little late, SFP would compensate and move the pause or mute to closest quantize button.
