Set Length of Root Container Directly (Solved)

Posted

Hi,

I'm finding it rather clunky to continually resize the root container by dragging the arrow to the right.

It would be ideal to be able to just say directly (i.e. by typing it in) that the length shall be, for example, 64 bars (or go thru bar 64).     The idea is to be simple, precise, fast, and not have to futz with the zoom, etc. in order to "find" the desired target visually.

Maybe if containers had an Inspector, they could all be set/altered exactly in the same way ...

but the most important one I'd say is the root container, as I find it's size constantly evolves as the composition itself does, making it a repeated necessity to adjust its size/length.

Hi, You have in Structure, a box there you can type in how long you will that the container should be.

That's it!    Thanks for the tip and the picture.

(I'm still learning my way around ...)  :^)
