When you solo an instrument SFP should switch to that as the currently selected insrument.. I have countless number of times changed the value of a wrong instrument cause I was assuming SFP would change. I can't really think of a purpose for instrument not changing to solo'd instrument
The ability (if possible) to solo two or more tracks would be helpful too when you want to hear certain interplay.
Having to mute 12 instruments to hear 2 or 3 takes more time.
I would also like to be able to mute containers, it makes it a lot easier to A/B different ideas (unless their is a workaround I haven't discovered yet)

Good idea.
You can solo multiple instruments by holding the command key while you click (or was it shift?). It works like standard multiple selection.
Muting containers and A/B comparison is on the agenda already.
